In Regarding the pain of others, Susan Sontag alerts us about the danger of wearing out our moral sense, as we get used – yes we do – to atrocity.

Another photographic work using abstract ceramic pieces I made mixed with everyday materials. 
I used textiles mostly, towels, felt, a mattress, to concoct a feeling of home, of something intimate, something comfortable that gets shattered by war, violence, terrorism. 
Unfortunately this photo series remains actual, cruelty unruled, peace far away.
Our duty is not to close our eyes.
